We were contacted for an emergency due to a main sewer stoppage. Discovering the sewer had no accessible clean out, we had to resort to pulling the water closet to auger the main line. Our process pulled back baby wipes that unfortunately are not supposed to be flushed down. Using a Rigid K1500 sectional sewer machine, we were able to effectively resolve the issue. Cleaning and sanitizing of the area was done using Simple Green, rags in a box and rubber gloves. We completed the service by installing a new wax ring, closet bolts, a braided stainless steel closet supply, resetting the water closet, and flushing several times to ensure no leaks were found at the base. Due to what was removed and the fact that a fix-a-flange was used to repair the broken closet flange (option to replace flange was declined), we advised the customer that the job comes without a warranty. #EmergencyResponse #DrainUnclogging #MasterPlumbers #DirtyJobs
